Art and architecture have long been intertwined, each influencing the other in a dynamic relationship that shapes the built environment. The relationship between art and architecture is multifaceted and complex and forms a medium that has fascinated artists and designers for centuries. At its core, both disciplines are concerned with the creation of space and the expression of ideas, emotions, and cultural values. Art often serves as a source of inspiration for architects, influencing everything that goes well beyond bricks and mortars. Yet there is a difference between architecture triggering a physiological response and architecture changing behaviour. Still, this studio practice believes that good design makes a difference, enables choice and influences positively everyday living.
